Abstract
|
Intestine not only has many transporters, but also expresses a range of metabolism enzymes, including the enzymes exist in gastrointestinal epithelial cells and digestive tract flora. These enzymes affect the form of the drug in the body and the absorption process and so on. Therefore, intestine first-pass metabolism of drugs is becoming more and more attention and the researching methods are improving. In this paper, the current methods of drug intestinal metabolism and their characteristics were reviewed. |
