Clinical observation of Gansuanhuanji method treating hypertension with liver yang hyperactivity type |

Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of Gansuanhuanji Chinese medicine treating patients with hypertension of liver yang hyperactivity type. [Methods] Sixty-four cases of patients with mild and moderate hypertension were randomly divided into treatment group with Gansuanhuanji and the control group with western medicine treatment. Two groups were treated with amlodipine orally, the treatment group addition with Gansuanhuanji Chinese medicine. After 8 weeks of treatment, observation changes of two groups in TCM syndrome integral, office blood pressure and ambulatory blood pressure. [Results] After treatment, TCM syndrome, office blood pressure and 24 h ambulatory blood pressure parameters of two groups were significantly improved (P<0.05); Comparing the two groups, the treatment group improved more in traditional Chinese medicine symptoms(P<0.01), and decreased obviously in office blood pressure, 24 h systolic pressure, 24 h diastolic pressure, nocturnal systolic blood pressure and nocturnal diastolic blood pressure (P<0.05). [Conclusion] The use of Gansuanhuanji Chinese medicine based on Western medicine therapy can improve clinical symptoms better, and further reduced blood pressure. |
