Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate the relationship between different syndromes and immune inflammatory markers, cytokines in psoriatic arthritis (PsA). [Methods] Sixty-two cases of patients diagnosed with PsA were divided into damp-heat syndrome, cold syndrome and YIN-deficiency and blood-dryness syndrome according to Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation criteria. Testing each group of patients ESR、CRP、IgA、IgG、IgM、TNF-α、IL-17、IL-23, study the correlation between indexes and syndromes. [Results] 3 groups of patients IgA, IgG, IgM levels were above the normal range, but no statistically significant difference in each group (i>P> 0.05), damp syndrome patients ESR, CRP, TNF-ɑ, IL-17, IL-23 levels were significantly higher than cold syndrome, YIN-deficiency and blood-dryness syndrome patients, the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.01). [Conclusion] There were association between the degree of disease activity, immune function and syndrome in patients with PsA. Inflammatory markers and cytokines may be used as microscopic indicators of TCM dialectical type. |
