Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate protective effects and mechanisms of Heying Anxin formula on the cardiovascular system of aging rats. [Methods] Rat vascular smooth muscle cells were incubated by H2O2(200 μmol/L) for 2 h as inflammation model group, same dose of H2O2 was administered 2 h after treatment with Heying An xin formula(100 μg/mL, 50 μg/mL, 25 μg/mL)as therapeutic group and incubated for another 24 h, content of NO were measured. Subcutaneous injection in neck and back of D-galactose(125 mg/kg) to establish aging rats model. Model group: D-galactose(125 mg/kg), Heying Anxin formula (500 mg/kg+D-galactose 125 mg/kg, 250 mg/kg+D-galactose 125 mg/kg、125mg/kg+D-galactose 125 mg/kg) as treating groups, as well as normal group and young group. The RT-PCR technique was used to measure the expression of relevant genes, such as nitrous oxide system(NOS) and basic fibroblast growth factor (b-FGF) in the tissues of brain and liver. [Results] Heying Anxin formula can significantly decrease the content of NO(P<0.05 vs control group), also compared with that of control group, He ying Anxin formula can significantly decrease NOS expression and enhance b-FGF expression in rats brain and liver tissues (P<0.01). [Conclusion] Heying Anxin formula has greatly protective effects on anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular regeneration of aging rats, and it may be take effect by the brain and liver. |
