| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe effects of Yangzheng Xiaoji capsule on cancer-related fatigue in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and its effect on quality of life. [Methods] Eightey-four cases cancer patients in Shanxi province hospital of traditional Chinese medicine on cology from 2012 April -2014 May were randomly divided into the treatment received chemotherapy combined with Yangzhengxiaoji Capsule and the control group only given chemotherapy.In the first day and day 14 after the chemotherapy, allpatients fatigue condition were evaluated through revised Piper fatigue scale. [Results] the results suggest that the treatment group score on cognitive dimension, perceptual dimensions, emotional dimension and behavior dimension significantly improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05). The control group only in the behavior dimension, emotional dimension score lower before the treatment (P<0.05), other dimensions scores showed no improvement from the previous (P>0.05). Two groups in various fields the comparison of two score difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). [Conclusion]Yangzheng Xiaoji capsule can significantly improve patients after chemotherapy in fatigue status caused by cancer. |
