The role of neurotrophic factors in nerve injury and the regulation by traditional Chinese medicine

Abstract
    Neurotrophic factors can antagonize nerve damage and promote neurons repair after injury. Regarding neurotrophic factors as a starting point to the treat neuronal damage diseases has broad prospects. Therefore, this paper reviewed on domestic and foreign research programs of neurotrophic factors in nerve injury, and some single Chinese herb effective components of traditional Chinese medicine or Chinese herbal compound in neurotrophic factors regulation, in order to provide a reference for further research and development of drugs to treat neurological disorders.
