Abstract
    DNA methylation belongs to the category of epigenetics,which can involve in the regulation and expression of gene without changing the sequence of DNA.In the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer,accompanied by abnormal DNA methylation.The abnormal methylation of tumor suppressor gene and oncogene both affected the occurrence and development of tumor.This review aimed to summarized and prospect the situation of the current gene methylation associated with colorectal cancer,and its function in the treatment and prevention.
