Abstract
|
[Objective] To evaluate the safety and efficacy of the traditional Chinese medicine on depression in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.[Methods] All randomized controlled trials (RCTs) or quasi-randomized controlled trials from the database established to December 2015,It was searched on the VIP,CNKI,Wan fang,CBM,Pubmed,the Cochrane Liabrary about the traditional Chinese medicine on depression in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.And then Revman 5.3 was performed for meta-analyses.[Results] Nine trials including 593 cases were identified.Meta-analysis showed that:Compared with control group,the effective rate in The experimental group was higher than control group.Hamilton (HAMD) score changes:glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels:adverse events were superior than normal group,the differences were statistically significant.[Conclusion] The existing research literature suggests that The effects of the traditional Chinese medicine on depression in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus are better than Western medicine group,especially in the total efficiency,HAMD,HbA1c,and no severe adverse event was reported. |
