Abstract

Medicinal and edible medicine can be used as drugs and food for a long time.They have the function to prevent and control some chronic diseases.So they have widely used in the medicinal and health care industry.Many ethnic minorities in our country are good at using diet for health care and disease prevention and control in their daily life and have accumulated a large number of medicinal and edible animal and plant resources.But there is still a lack of systematic summary and induction presently.This article reviewed the effective components,pharmacological activity and mechanism on the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus of five medicinal and edible Uyghur medicine (Brassica rapa L,Cicer arietinum L,punica granatum L,Nigella glandulifera Freyn et Sint,Capparis spinosa L) in the hope of providing a reference for the full development and utilization of medicinal and edible Uyghur medicine resources. |
