| Abstract

| Xiaopu Xu, and his son Zhongcai Xu, both were famous pediatricians in Shanghai. They advocated supporting Yang theory of "Yang-qi was the power of life under physiological conditions, and was disease resistant force in pathological conditions", and focused on strengthening Yang-qi in clinical treatment, excelled in curing difficult pediatric diseases by using the method of strengthening Yang-qi to cooperate with other treatments. The author will be discussing it from the academic connotation of Xu's supporting Yang theory to the dignificance of pediatrics, clinical application, finally show a typical case to readers. |
