Abstract
|
The essence of Confucian "Golden mean" is pursuing the balance and harmony of all things, neither excessive nor deficient. Balance is the rule of interdependent universe, of which the Golden mean is thought as specific practice. The balance rule, which penetrating into all aspects of TCM health-keeping, has been guiding us to prevent diseases, maintain healthy and prolong lives for thousands of years. To conform to nature, keep proper diet, control emotions and take moderation of work and rest with the mind of balance, it is the "Golden mean" of TCM health-keeping. |
