| Abstract

| As one of common Chinese medicine,pueraria has a wide range of clinical value.Puer-aria is used to treat cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Beside this,puerarin has a good therapeutic effect on liver damage,as well as a hepatoprotective effect.It shows that pueraria formulation has potential development for liver targeting and has gradually become a hot spot in research.Based summarization on the related literatures,the article discussed the pharmacological effects of pueraria.Then it was reviewed mainly traditional formulations of pueraria,dosage forms currently in use of pueraria,developing dosage forms of pueraria and their characteristics.Last,we made a prospect about the future development of pueraria formulation. |
