Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the mechanism of molecular biology of Jianpi Huayu Jiedu (JPHYJD) decoction on Patients with UC based on the clinical curative effect.[Methods] Detect serum CRP, platelet, Mayo score, the levels of serum Epidermal growth factor (EGF), Transforming growthfactor β1(TGF-β1) and Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) on 60 patients with mild-to-moderate UC before and after the treatment of JPHYJD decoction and mesalazine.[Results] Serum CRP value, platelets, Mayo score, the expression of EGF, TGF-β1 and TNF-α have no statistical difference between treatment group and control group (P>0.05). Compared with before treatment, these indicators on patients with JPHYJD decoction and mesalazine are significant differences (P<0.01) and JPHYJD decoction have statistical differences for mesalazine on platelets, Mayo score and TNF-α (P<0.05). The observation group and control group has the significant effective rate of 93.1% and 76.7% (P<0.05).[Conclusion] The mechanism of JPHYJD decoction for the treatment of ulcerative colitis may be related to regulating the expressions serum EGF,TGF-β1 and TNF-α, and anti-inflammatory effect is better than mesalazine.
