Abstract
    Strychnos has exact clinical efficacy, and is widely used in treating rheumatism, numbness paralysis, rheumatoid arthritis and other diseases. However, the application is limited due to the toxic reactions. Therefore, to attenuate the toxicity and enhance the efficiency will be of great significance to strychnos. In this paper, the pharmacological effect, toxicity and the method of attenuating the toxicity and enhancing the efficiency through pharmaceutics technology were summarized, which provided the basis for further study.
