Abstract
|
[Objective] To study the in vitro antibacterial activity of Bidensbipinnata to Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.[Methods] The total flavonoids were extracted by 50% ethanol-petroleum ether-ethyl acetate and purified by macroporous resin AB-8 column chromatography. The drug susceptibility of bacteria of total flavonoids was measured by disk diffusion method, the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) was determined by afar dilution method.[Results] The total flavonoids of Bidensbipinnata were less sensitive to Escherichia coli and had a certain inhibitory effect on Candida albicans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus.[Conclusions] The total flavonoids of Bidensbipinnata showed inhibitory effects on a variety of bacteria, suggesting that there may be a broad antibacterial spectrum. |
