| [Objective] Through the observation of Geqi Jiangtang granules combined with Mecobalamin on type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy clinical observation of patients.To explore the mechanism of delaying and treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy by traditional Chinese medicine.[Methods] Sixty patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with peripheral neuropathy in our hospital, who were proved to be kidney deficiency and toxin stagnation type, which were randomly divided into treatment group (combination of Chinese and Western medicine geqiJiangtang granule combined with Mecobalamin) and Western medicine group (Mecobalamin), 30 cases in each group, 8 weeks for 1 courses.The TCM syndrome score and the Michigan score were observed before and after treatment in two groups, and the changes of blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, electromyogram, serum 8-iso-PGF2 and other indexes were detected.[Results] 1) Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment group can significantly reduce the TCM syndrome score and the Michigan score, the total effective rate is better than the western medicine group. 2) The sensory nerve conduction velocity in the integrative medicine group was significantly better than that in the western medicine group. 3) The serum 8-iso-PGF2 level in the integrative medicine group was significantly lower than that in the western medicine group.[Conclusion] Geqi Jiangtang granules combined with mecobalamin significantly improve the symptoms and signs of patients with DPN, The clinical curative effect is better than the westernmedicine group. The mechanism of action may be by reducing serum 8-iso-PGF2 alpha. |
