| [Objective] To evaluate the efficacy of Qingfei Tongluo mixture on Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Pneumonia(MPP) with phlegm-Heat closed lungs and the levels of IFN-γ.[Methods] A total of 69 children with MPP were enrolled at department of pediatrics in Tianjin Nankai Hospital from October 2016 to February 2017. These patients were randomly assigned to two groups, treatment group (n=35) and control group (n=34). All patients were treated with intravenous azithromycin treatment during hospitalization. In addition, the patients in treatment group were given Qingfei Tongluo prescription. The overall efficacy, hospitalization days, the duration of symptoms and serum IFN-γ levels were respectively compared between two groups after 7 days.[Results] Sixty cases were finally enrolled including treatment group (n=30) and control group (n=30). The curative rate was 83.33% in the treatment group and was 53.33% in control group, there was significantly difference related to the curative rate between two groups after the treatment (P<0.05). The hospitalization days and continued days of fever, cough, expectoration, dry stool, and urine in treatment group were lower than those of control group, there were also significantly differences between two groups (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between two groups related to wheezing (P>0.05). There was statistically significant difference in IFN-γ between two groups after treatment (P<0.05). There was statistically significant difference related to IFN-γ before and after treatment (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Qingfei Tongluo method can improve the clinical efficacy of patients with mycoplasma pneumonia of phlegm heat and lung closed type, and can reduce the levels of serum IFN-γ, it was worthy of promoting. |
