Abstract
|
[Objective] Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (Mini-CEX) is an assessment tool for capability of clinical residents and can be used for examination and teaching. By studying how well Mini-CEX is performing in training medical students, this paper tried to expand its application and give new proposals for its clinical use, to find new ways of making breakthrough in training clinical physicians.[Methods] This paper studied the application status of Mini-CEX in training medical students by searching for Mini-CEX related literature.[Results] Appropriate validity and reliability of Mini-CEX have led to its wide use in clinical teaching and evaluation both domestically and internationally.[Conclusions] In addition to improving medical students' clinical practice skills, Mini-CEX also highlights humanistic education. This has been increasingly recognized. Along with the expansion of its application scope and its specialization-aimed improvement, as well as its combination of advantages with other approaches,Mini-CEX is increasingly emphasizing personalized education, which brings more benefit to clinical teaching and evaluation. |
