The effect of the treatment in winter and summer on estradiol and melatonin level for postmenopausal osteoporosis with traditional Chinese medicine which invigorate the kidney and essence replenishment

Abstract
    [Objective] To investigate whether there is an advantage in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis in winter with traditional Chinese Medicine which treatment based on the theory of "kidney corresponding with winter" and "the kidney being in charge of bone".[Methods] Review 64 cases of postmenopausal osteoporosis,divided them into experimental group and control group. The experimental group 32 cases were treated with TCM which invigorate the kidney and essence replenishment,while the control group 32 cases were treated with Caltrate D. Observed E2 and MT level annual indications.[Results] Analysis of the level of estradiol and melatonin changes of postmenopausal osteoporosis patients after treatment.[Conclusion] Based on the theory of kidneys governing bone and kidney corresponding with the winter,the theory of taking medicine in accordance with suitable time has a certain extent clinical guiding significance.
