[Objective] Through the bibliometric analysis of the AIDS related literature of middle school students in China,to learn its current situation and characteristics.[Methods] Three major Chinese databases of CNKI,VIP,and WANFANG were retrieved using the Themes search, and the retrieval time was January 1st,2008 to April 14th,2018. Bibliometric analysis with NoteExpress3.2,Bicomb2.0 and Ucinet6.0 software was used to analyze the data.[Results] A total of 529 articles were included, and the number of published articles showed a downward trend. There were 1 350 authors, and the coauthor rate was 68.05%. Most of the literature research centers were CDCs,and funded literature accounts for 28.92%. The study hot spots mainly focused on health education,AIDS related knowledge, awareness rate, and intervention.[Conclusion] The topic of AIDS literature research in middle school students in China needs to be expanded and deepened. Staff cooperation should be strengthened, fund support coverage should be expanded, and the quality of literature should be further improved.
