| Dysentery is a kind of disease, which is common in clinical and not easy to be treated. It was studieal the cases of curing dysentery in the book named "PU Fuzhou, a hundred years of Chinese medicine practitioners in China". PU Fuzhou cures dysentery, including dampness-heat type, dampness-cold and spleen weakness type, wood stagnation and earth stasis type, and spleen-stomach qi sinking type. PU Fuzhou was adept at curing dysentery by exclusion of urine. And he was good for using sugar to cure dysentery. He paid attention to using smaller dose and more types herbs, when we need to regulate qi. He emphasized that Chinese medicine formulations and medicine methods are used selectively. PU Fuzhou cured dysentery accurately and effectively. To improve the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in treating dysentery. we should study his cases and get his experience. |
