| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To observe the clinical efficacy of Xuelian Tongmai Pill in treating posterior circulation ischemic vertigo dizziness(phlegm turbidity resistance type). [Methods] Onehundred and twenty patients who were suffered from posterior circulation ischemic vertigo dizziness (phlegm turbidity resistance type)were randomly divided into the treatment group and the contrast group, which each group concludes 60 patients. The contrast group was treated with Nimodipine tablet, while the treatment group was treated with Nimodipine tablet and Xuelian Tongmai pill.The course of treatment was 8 weeks. The changes in syndrome score, blood flow velocity of the vertebrobasilar artery, and cerebral arteries blood flow index of vertebral artery(VA)and basilar artery(BA)systolic peak flow velocity(Vp), peak diastolic blood flow velocity(Vd)and other indicators of change were evaluated after the treatment. [Results] There was significant difference between the treatment group and the contrast group on vertigo symptom integral scores, total efficiency, TCD, Vm, PI and blood viscosity after the treatment(P<0.05). [Conclusion] XueLianTongMai Pill can not only improve the posterior circulation ischemic vertigo but also relieve symptoms of dizziness. And the mechanism may be that it can alter the average vertebral-basilar artery flow velocity and blood viscosity. |
