Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of WanDai decoction in treating polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) with the syndrome of excessive dampness caused by spleen deficiency.[Methods] One hundred and eight cases of PCOS patients with the syndrome of excessive dampness caused by spleen deficiency,and divided them into the treatment group and the control group randomy being 84 cases in each. The control group were given the conventional western medicine,on the basis of the control group,the treatment group additive WanDai decoction.[Results] The total effective rate was 94.04%,in the treatment group,being higher than the 70.23% of the control group (P<0.05). Two groups of comparison,the improvement in symptoms was more pronounced in the treatment group than in the control group. After treatment,the scores of menstrual cycle,body mass index and hairy symptoms in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,it shows significant difference (P<0.05). After treatment,levels of serum luteinizing hormone (LH),testosterone (T),and ratio of LH in follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).[Conclusion] The combination of Chines and Western medicine in the treatment of PCOS has better effect and deserves clinical promotion. |
