Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of closed negative pressure suction combined with Bazhen decoction in the treatment of stage 3 and stage 4 pressure injury in the elderly, and to provide clinical basis for the treatment of pressure injury in the elderly.[Methods] Selected 72 elderly patients with stage 3 and stage 4 pressure injuries in our department of Geriatrics from January 2016 to December 2017,divided randomly into two groups:there were 36 cases in the control group and 36 cases in the treatment group. The control group was treated with closed negative pressure suction, while the treatment group was treated by closed negative pressure suction combined with Bazhen decoction. Observed and compared the total effective rate,PUSH score and dressing change times.[Results] The total effective rate was 58.33% in the control group and 80.56% in the treatment group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the pressure ulcer healing score (PUSH) score of the control group was 10.40±4.01,and that of the treatment group was 6.20±4.49. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The average times of dressing changes in the control group was 19.50±3.24 and that in the treatment group was 16.30±2.71. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Closed negative pressure suction combined with Bazhen decoction is superior to simple closed negative pressure suction in terms of total effective rate,PUSH and dressing change. |
