Abstract
|
Postprandial distress syndrome belongs to one of the categories of functional dyspepsia. It is a common clinical disease which is easy to recrudesce and affects the quality of life. Many patients suffer from it. This article summarizes Professor XIE Jingri's experience in treating postprandial distress syndrome. According to the holism and dialectic method of TCM, he believes that deficiency patterns of spleen is the key pathogenesis of this disease. Therefore, he starts from restoring the function of the spleen and derives many treatment methods which are based on the physiological functions and pathological features of the spleen and stomach. In addition, Professor XIE would like to use ancient formula in the process of treatment. Based on the above aspects, he often achieves satisfactory therapeutic effect in the clinical treatment of this disease. |
