| [Objective] To study the curative effect of Bixie Moisture Penetration Decoction on chronic prostatitis patients and the level of and the national institutes of health chronic prostatitis symptom index (NIH-CPSI) score,interferon gamma (IFN -γ),tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α),interleukin 4 (IL-4) level of Bixie Moisture Penetration Decoction in the treatment of patients with chronic prostatitis.[Methods] A total of 100 patients with chronic prostatitis admitted to our hospital from February 2016 to February 2018 were selected for study,and they were divided into experimental group and control group by random lottery. The control group was given conventional western medicine treatment,and the experimental group on the basis of the control group was given Bixie Moisture Penetration Decoction. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared,and difference of NIH-CPSI score and changes of IFN-γ,TNF-α,IL-4 levels in prostatic fluid before and after treatment.[Results] The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment,the NIH-CPSI score of the experimental group was lower than the control group before treatment,and the experimental group was lower than the control group,with statistically significant differences (all P<0.05). After treatment,IFN-γ,TNF-α and IL-4 levels in the experimental group were lower than the control group,with statistically significant differences (all P<0.05).[Conclusion] Bixie Moisture Penetration decoction in the treatment of chronic prostatitis patients has distinct curative effect,which can help improve the NIH-CPSI score,reduce IFN-γ,TNF alpha,IL-4 levels. |
