| Abstract

| [Objective] To explore the efficacy and safety of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with N-acetylcysteine in the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.[Methods] One hundred patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis admitted to our hospital from December 31,2016 to December 31,2017 were divided into two groups by random number table method. The observation group was treated with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with N-acetylcysteine capsule,and the control group was treated with N-acetylcysteine capsule only. Both groups were continuous. Treatment for 6 months. The clinical efficacy,pulmonary function,inflammatory factors and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.[Results] the effective rate of the observation group was 94%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group 70% (P<0.05). After treatment,the two groups of FVC,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC were significantly higher than those before treatment (P<0.05),and the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of TNF-alpha and IL-6 in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05),and the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 4% compared with 6% in the control group,with no significant difference (P>0.05).[Conclusion] Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction Combined with N-acetylcysteine has a good effect in inhibiting the progression of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. It can effectively relieve the inflammatory response of the patients,improve the lung function,and have high safety. It is worth popularizing in clinical practice. |
