Therapeutic effect of Zishen Yisui Decoction combined with Western medicine on non-motor symptoms of parkinson's disease

Abstract
    [Objective] To explore the curative effect of Zishen Yisui Decoction combined with western medicine on non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease. [Methods] A prospective parallel control trial was conducted in 60 patients with Parkinson's disease with syndrome type of insufficiency of medullary sea as the research object. According to the treatment group,there were 60 patients in the control group,thirty in the treatment group and thirty in the control group. The treatment group was treated with the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,Zishen Yisui Decoction combined with western medicine (standard dosage of levodopa). The control group was treated with oral western medicine only. The observation period was one month,and the follow-up period was 3 months after withdrawal. In the course of treatment,the clinical symptoms were evaluated by Unified Parkinson's disease rating scale (UPDRS) and Non-motor symptom screening questionnaire (NMSQ),and the curative effect was evaluated by comparative analysis. [Results] Compared with before treatment,the total UPDRS score and NMSQ score of patients in the treatment group decreased significantly in different time after treatment,with statistical significance compared with before treatment (P<0.05). [Conclusion] Zishen Yisui Decoction combined with western medicine is effective in treating non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
