Abstract
Pancreatic cancer is a kind of digestive tract cancer with high mortality, about 90% of which is pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Like other cancers, the invasion and metastasis of pancreatic cancer is the main cause of death of cancer patients. At present, because of the difficulty in early diagnosis, the probability of surgical treatment of pancreatic cancer is lower than that of other digestive tract tumors. Chemical treatment is the main treatment after surgical treatment for advanced pancreatic cancer. As the side effects of chemotherapy are increasing,it is necessary to find a treatment method and drug with good effect and small side effects. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has become a hot spot in the research of anti-tumor drugs because of its wide sources, long history of clinical application and multi-target synergistic effect. Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi,as one of the compatibility of many traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for the treatment of pancreatic cancer, has attracted the attention of researchers. Scutellarin is a kind of flavonoid derived from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. It is one of the main components with anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor activities in Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. In this paper, the anti-tumor activity of baicalein in pancreatic cancer and other digestive tract tumors was analyzed and summarized, and the prospect of drug development of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi and baicalein was put forward.
