| Abstract

| Machine vision,which automatically recognizes product quality and the state of the production process based on images,and then improves production processes based on real-time quality data feedback,can play an important role in promoting the intelligent level of traditional manufacturing industries. In this respect,the manufacturing of traditional Chinese medicine urgently needs to integrate modern information technology,such as the machine vision technology,in order to have the quality inspection of raw materials,decoction pieces and final products,recognize the status of the production process,and achieve the on-site management of the production workshop,which further drives the development of traditional Chinese medicine production. This review summarizes the application and key technologies of machine vision technology in various fields,and prospects the application of machine vision in intelligent manufacturing of traditional Chinese medicine from the four perception perspectives of human,material,production status and environment. |
