Abstract

Professor GAO Weibin has been engaged in acupuncture and moxibustion clinic,teaching and scientific research for 50 years. The medical skills are exquisite and the study is rigorous. Based on the theory of traditional Chinese and western medicine,he pays attention to human anatomy,physiology and pathology,and studies the therapeutic effect of acupuncture by modern scientific and technical means. GAO is guided by the theory of "the liver receives blood and then the eyes can see",taking "musculature" acupoint to treat visual impairment,paying attention to electro-acupuncture,avoiding bleeding,focusing on dredging blood and qi vessels of fundus,and the curative effect is remarkable. |
