| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine aerosol atomization on herpes zoster with moderate or severe stagnation of Liver Meridian on the basis of symptomatic treatment.[Methods] Sixty patients with herpes zoster of moderate or severe stagnation of liver meridian were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,thirty cases in each group. The patients in the control group were given symptomatic treatment by clinical diagnosis and treatment pathway of herpes zoster. On the basis of the control group,at the end of 5 days of antiviral treatment,the patients in the treatment group were combined with traditional Chinese medicine atomization,prescribed Kaicou Zhitong Decoction,which continuously intervened the skin lesion for one week,with 2 days as an observation cycle,and observed four times. The two groups were treated for 12 days. Statistical analysis and comparison of the two groups before and after treatment of clinical symptoms score,timeliness indicators,clinical efficacy and adverse events were compared between the two groups.[Results] The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.00%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group 73.33% (P<0.05);the scab removal time and pain relief time of the treatment group were significantly shorter than those of the control group (P< 0.05);the symptom scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.01),and the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the occurrence of adverse events (P>0.05).[Conclusion] The clinical effect of traditional aerosol Chinese medicine atomization in the adjuvant treatment of moderate and severe herpes zoster is better,which deserves further study. |
