Abstract
|
[Objective] To observe the clinical efficacy of facial cupping combined with acupuncture in the treatment of idiopathic facial neuritis.[Methods] Adopting the method of prospective study, sixty patients with facial paralysis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with filiform acupuncture, and the treatment group was treated with facial cupping on the basis of the control group. The classification of the facial nerve function evaluation scale "House-Brackmann" (H-B) was mainly evaluated. The therapeutic effect was evaluated at 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment in the two groups.[Results] Compared with the control group, after 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment, the evaluation of H-B in the treatment group was significantly improved compared with the control group (P<0.05). After 4 weeks of treatment,86.67% of patients in the treatment group recovered completely (with normal function),which was better than 53.33% in the control group (P<0.05). At the end of 8 weeks of treatment,96.67% of patients in the treatment group recovered completely (with normal function),which was better than 72.41% of those in the control group (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Facial cupping can effectively improve facial nerve function and promote facial nerve function recovery. |
