Abstract
    Gastrointestinal dysfunction after gastrointestinal surgery affects the quality of life of patients. Professor ZHANG Liping thinks that the postoperative gastrointestinal disorder is syndrome of deficiency ben and excessive biao,the clinical treatment should focus on middle-jiao,by strengthening spleen and dispersing liver. Professor ZHANG Liping believes spleen and stomach are the acquired foundation and middle-jiao includes spleen,liver and stomach. Summed up the spleen and stomach weakness,liver depression and spleen deficiency two syndrome types. Based on the traditional Chinese medicine theory of syndrome differentiation,using strengthening spleen and dispersing liver as the main therapeutic principle in treating postoperative gastrointestinal disorder,which achieves good results.
