Abstract
|
[Objective] To investigate the therapeutic effects of electroacupuncture at Shenshu,Huiyang combined with scalp acupuncture and traditional acupoints acupuncture on children with enuresis.[Methods] Sixty four patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, thirty two cases in each group. The treatment group selected foot transport area,Shenshu,Huiyu acupuncture,Shenshu,Huiyang acupuncture;the control group selected Guan yuan,Zhong ji,Pangguangshu,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao to acupuncture. Both groups were treated once a day,and six days a week for four weeks. The two groups were observed before and after treatment efficiency and symptom scores compared to assess the clinical efficacy of both groups.[Results] The total effective rate in the treatment group was 93.8%,which was not significantly different from that in the control group (87.5%),but the cure rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, symptom scores of the treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05),and symptom scores of the control group were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). There was no statistic difference between the two groups in the degree of sleep and mental status significance (P>0.05),but the number of enuresis, the volume of urine output in treatment group was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Electroacupuncture at Shenshu and Huiyang combined with scalp acupuncture is effective in treating children with enuresis, especially for the number of enuresis and enuresis. It is worth clinical promotion and further study. |
