Abstract
The theory of gallbladder qi rising in spring is a theory founded by LI Dongyuan on the basis of Huangdi Neijing and Shaoyang syndrome in treatise on febrile diseases. He puts forward that the gallbladder, which means Shaoyang Chun Sheng qi,rises in spring and leads to the rest of the viscera follow it. As long as Spring qirise, all things change well. And if the gallbladder qi could not rise, then diarrhea and intestinal addiction happens later. Therefore,it emphasizes the important position of Shaoyang gallbladder qi in the process of transportation and transformation of the viscera. In this study,it makes a detailed discussion on the pathogenesis and its clinical application of this theory, hoping to open up ideas in the diagnosis and treatment of related diseases and improve the curative effect.
