Abstract

Yuji (LU10) is one of the acupoints of Taiyin hand meridian, which could treat asthmatic cough and sore throat because its function were dispersing and lowering lung qi, dispelling wind and clearing away heat, resolving phlegm and relieving asthma, regulating qi activity and enlarging chest, so it also could relieve depression. From the point of view of modern anatomy, Yuji (LU10) is an important target for the treatment for finger dysfunction, it located near the thumb where the muscles were thick and closely associated with the finger-to-thumb opposition movement's muscle group. This article introduces the Professor LI Zhidao's clinical experiences in Yuji (LU10) to readers. |
