Abstract
Based on the collateral disease theory, taking the etiology and pathogenesis of collateral disease as the starting point, this paper discussed the theoretical basis of "Shugan Tongluo" method in the treatment of glaucoma from the pathological characteristics of "chronic disease entering collaterals" and "chronic disease forming blood stasis", and explained the curative effect of this method in glaucoma patients. So as to further enrich the scientific connotation of Shugan Tongluo method in the treatment of glaucoma patients from the theory of collateral disease, and provided a reference for Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of glaucoma patients to find new targets.
