| Abstract

| [Objective] To observe the clinical efficacy of Diankuang Mengxing Decoction combined with Deanxit in the treatment of post-stroke depression of qi stagnation and blood stasis type.[Methods] One hundred patients meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group with 50 cases each. During the treatment,6 cases were removed and dropped from the two groups respectively,and 44 cases in the treatment group and the control group were finally completed. The control group was given routine and symptomatic treatment of ischemic stroke,combined with Deanxit. On this basis,the treatment group was given Diankuang Mengxing Decoction for 8 weeks. Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD),National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS),side effects scale (TESS),traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome score and 5-hydroxytry-ptamine (5-HT) were assessed and compared in the two groups.[Results] After treatment, the total effective rate and the level of 5-HT in the treatment group were better than those in the control group. The depression, neurological deficit and clinical symptoms of the treatment group were improved, and the incidence of adverse drug reactions was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).[Conlution] The clinical observation shows that Diankuang Mengxing Decoction can improve the depressive mood of patients with Post-stroke depression of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,and its curative effect is better than that of Deanxit alone. |
