Abstract
|
Acidic polysaccharides are widely distributed in nature and have a variety of biological activities, including antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,immunoregulation,hyperglycemic and antitumor. The biological activity is dependent on its molecular weight, monosaccharide composition, and sugar residue type. However, acidic polysaccharide is a kind of high molecular compound with many branches, complex structure and difficult to identify, which brings great limitations to its research and clinical application. This paper mainly reviewed the separation, structural identification and biological activities of the acidic polysaccharides in recent five years,to provide a theoretical basis for the comprehensive development and utilization of acidic polysaccharides. |
