Abstract

Herpes zoster is a common infectious skin disease caused by varicella zoster virus invading ganglion and causing ganglion inflammation. Clustered rash is commonly distributed in ganglion segments or one side,accompanied by fever,general fatigue and other symptoms. It is called "Snake-Like Sore" and "Waist Winding Erysipelas" by traditional Chinese medicine. The etiology and pathogenesis are dampness and heat in liver and gallbladder,dampness and heat in spleen,qi deficiency and blood stasis,qi stagnation and blood stasis,etc. Professor YAN Li uses the method of opening up the hubs and triple energizer to treat acute herpes zoster,using Awn needle combined with electroacupuncture and bloodletting cupping therapy to quickly improve the pain symptoms of patients and reduce the incidence of postherpetic neuralgia. |
