| Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the party and the government have placed the development of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in a prominent position. TCM has ushered in important development opportunities and achieved high-quality development. At the same time, it is also facing new challenges and shouldering a new historical mission. Over the past decade, TCM has further gone abroad and into the world, and its status and influence at home and abroad have been significantly improved. The service capacity of TCM has been continuously enhanced, and the modernization and industrialization have been continuously promoted. Academic research on TCM has also made important progress. Looking back on the past and looking forward to the future, Academician ZHANG Boli based on the development of TCM in recent ten years, put forward his personal opinions on the key problems in the development process, and looked forward to the future development direction of TCM. |
