Abstract
|
Diabetes is attributed in traditional Chinese medicine to eliminate thirst within the scope. "Consumptive thirst" was first mentioned in the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine, then came the Eastern Han Dynasty,ZHANG Zhongjing's Synopsis of the Golden Chamber has a more detailed account of quenching thirst. Diabetic constipation is a common complication of diabetic patients. ZHANG Zhongjing also has a unique view on this. ZHANG Zhongjing treated the disease based on syndrome differentiation, searching for the primary cause of disease in treatment. He obeyed the cause and pathogenesis,by syndrome differentiation. Different effective prescriptions were summarized. It provides a great reference for contemporary Chinese medicine. We should further explore his academic ideas to better serve the clinic. |
