Abstract
|
Modern medicine believes that visceral hypersensitivity is closely related to the occurrence of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS). Based on the theory of "internal movement of wind and qi",the author expounds the "visceral hypersensitivity theory" and the pathogenesis of diarrhea type IBS. The incongruity of the spleen with the stomach, the accumulation of the spleen in deficiency and dampness, the obstruction of the earth and insult of the wood, the depression of the liver and the generation of wind are the chief causes. Therefore, the basic treatment for this disease is to soften the liver, regulate the spleen, and overcome dampness and stop diarrhea. The main prescription is allergy decoction, which has the effects of nourishing yin, relieving wind, relieving pain, strengthening spleen and removing dampness, astringent intestine and stopping diarrhea. Therefore,it has significant clinical effect on diarrhea type IBS. |
