Abstract
[Objective] To evaluate the quality of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) diagnosis and treatment guidelines/expert consensus methodology and report quality of tumor complications in China, compare the similarities and differences between TCM diagnosis and treatment guidelines and consensus drug recommendations for tumor complications, and promote the application of guidelines.[Methods] With tumor, cancer, guidelines, expert consensus, consensus and TCM as the main inscription,China National Knowledge Network (CNKI),Wanfang Data,Chongqing VIP,and Medlive.cn were searched for domestic publication guidelines/consensus,and the retrieval time was from establishment to April 30,2021;The application of the guideline quality assessment tool AGREEⅡ for the guideline/consensus for methodological quality assessment, the application of the Right tool for quality assessment of the report.[Results] A total of 9 literatures,1 guide and 8 expert consensuses were included. The average scores of the six fields of the guideline were as follows:scope and purpose 60.34%,participants in the formulation of the guideline 31.64%,rigor 24.60%,clear statement and expression 40.28%,editorial independence 7.41%,and application 5.56%.[Conclusion] The number of TCM guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of tumor complications in China is small, and the quality of methodology and report is not high. The standardization and rigor of relevant guidelines and consensus formulation need to be strengthened. In the future, the formulation of TCM clinical practice guidelines should follow the international guidelines compilation standards in terms of structure, highlight the theoretical characteristics of TCM in terms of content, and improve the quality and applicability of the guidelines.
