The treatment group was treated with acupuncture combined with moxibustion, and the control group was treated with oral vitamin C and E for 4 weeks. The skin area and skin color score before and after treatment were observed, and the clinical improvement rate and RGB(polarized light) color spot index were compared.[Results] The skin area score of the treatment group was (0.92±0.13) points, lower than that of the control group (1.58±0.83) points, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The skin color score was (0.81±0.32) points, lower than that of the control group (1.95±0.58) points, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The improvement rate of observation group (89.74%) was significantly higher than that of control group (67.56), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The RGB speckle index of the treatment group (34.27±2.76) was lower than that of the control group (46.31±2.68), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).[Conclusion] Acupuncture combined with moxibustion can safely and effectively improve the quality of life of patients with chloasma.
