Abstract
The medicinal plants of Callicarpa L. are rich in resources, has good medicinal value, and is widely used in clinic. It mainly contains phenylethanoids, flavonoids, iridoid glycosides and other chemical constituents, with hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidation, anti-tumor and other pharmacological effects. This paper systematically summarizes the research progress on the chemical composition, pharmacological action of four kinds of medicinal Callicarpa L. and its quality markers (Q-Markers) were predicted and analyzed acteoside, isoacteoside, forsythoside B, luteoloside, luteolin, apigenin, quercetin, verbascoside, poliumoside, etc. can be used as the main Q-Marker of Callicarpa L., in order to provide reference for the establishment of quality evaluation system, further research, comprehensive utilization and development of Callicarpa L..
