Abstract
|
The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine first put forward the theory of preventive treatment of disease, but its sprouting thought had already been seen in the book of Sun Tzu's the Art of War in the Spring and Autumn Period. The military strategist and the medical practitioners seem to be irrelevant to each other, but they share the same origin. They are both rooted in the Chinese traditional culture and share the same philosophical thought and thinking methods. This article seeks the thought of preventive treatment of disease in Sun Tzu's the Art of War and quotes authoritative works to demonstrate in four aspects:prevention before disease onset, saving the initial disease, controlling development of existing disease, eliminating pathogens and preventing disease recurrence. |
