| Abstract

| According to the theory of "dampness-toxicity plagues",damp toxin depressing the lung is the core pathogenesis of COVID-19. The pathogenic characteristics of COVID-19 are that the disease is rapidly changing,highly infectious and easy to cause epidemics. The clinical characteristics of COVID-19 include wind,heat,cold and dryness. The theory comprehensively reflects the clinical characteristics of COVID-19 and provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). Chapter on Damp-Heat is an important part of the theory of epidemic disease prevention and treatment in TCM,which has guiding significance for the treatment of COVID-19 in TCM. Starting with the clinical manifestation of COVID-19 and the theory of "dampness-toxicity plagues",combined with the academic thought of Chapter on Damp-Heat,this paper analyzes the clinical characteristics and key points of syndrome and treatment of COVID-19,so as to provide reference for the TCM diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19. |
