Abstract
|
The active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) generally have poor solubility, low content, and cumbersome extraction and separation methods, which are not conducive to detection and analysis and poor medicinal properties, limiting their clinical application. New nanomaterials such as Graphene oxide (GO) have been gradually used in the extraction, separation and purification of active components of TCM and anti-tumor therapy due to their unique physicochemical properties, which are expected to improve the clinical application limitations of TCM and promote the clinical development of TCM. Based on the structural properties of GO,this paper summarizes the application of GO in the effective components of TCM,including promoting the dissolution of the effective components of TCM and improving the separation and purification efficiency, improving bioavailability, enhancing drug potency, improving tumor targeting, sustained release, and enhancing curative effect. The existing problems and future development of GO are discussed. The purpose of this study is to provide reference for the development of GO and its derivatives in the field of TCM and the clinical application of active components of TCM. |
